The National Housing Federation describes its latest Code of Governance as its most ambitious to date, setting out brand new standards for how housing associations are governed.

The new 2020 Code of Governance has been completely rewritten, building upon the strength of previous codes & reflecting the latest developments in best practice.

Chaired by Helen Young, HIAF’s co-chair, we are delighted that Paul Bayly, Head of Compliance & Governance at the NHF will be our key speaker at our next HIAF webinar on March 2 2021 at 10am.

Paul Bayly will provide:

  • The rational of what it sets out to achieve & why a new Code now
  • The key differences behind the old & new
  • The changes which impact internal audit teams
  • What the main areas of focus should be for internal audit teams
  • The Code’s links to pertinent initiatives & legislation such as Together with Tenants & the Social Housing White Paper.

There’ll also be an opportunity for Questions & Answers at the end of the session.
