Another speaker confirmed - 31 Oct

We are pleased to announce our third confirmed speaker for this long-awaited autumn event.

Karen Doran, Assistant Director, Investigation & Enforcement, is responsible for consumer regulation at the Regulator of Social Housing, and is therefore perfectly poised to deliver the session that's planned on the Green Paper. Her expertise in this subject will ensure an insightful session for those who attend.

Karen's confirmation follows our announcement last week that Liz Sandwith, Chief Professional Practice Advisor, Chartered Institute of Internal Audit, and Kelsey Walker, Director, Housing Consultancy at Savills will also speak on October 31 event.

Liz Sandwith will unencrypt what the new Corporate Governance Code will mean for your organisation, whilst Kelsey will put the housing regulator's Sector Risk Profile 2018, to be published soon, under the microscope.

The event will be kindly hosted by Places for People at their offices in central London.

More speakers will be confirmed in due course, but BOOK YOUR PLACE TODAY: as always, our events aim to keep you up to date with the latest news and developments affecting our industry.

More information to follow.

First two speakers announced

Trick or Treat: Uncovering what lies beneath

We are delighted to announce that the first 2 speakers of our next event at the end of the month are confirmed as Liz Sandwith, Chief Professional Practice Advisor, Chartered Institute of Internal Audit, and Kelsey Walker, Director, Housing Consultancy at Savills.

Social Housing has entered a new era and with that new responsibilities for how our organisations and enterprises are governed. And with responsibilities come risks. Liz Sandwith will unencrypted what the new Corporate Governance Code will mean for your organisation.

The Sector Risk Profile 2018 will be published imminently and this will be the focus of Kelsey's session. The housing regulator's annual publication sets out the main risks facing the social housing sector and what Boards should be doing to manage those risks.

The event will be kindly hosted by Places for People at their offices in central London.
